How to Take Care of Your Skin?

There are four general skin types: oily skin, dry skin, normal skin and combination skin. In addition, it is possible to have sensitive skin along with one of the four general types.

1. Dry Skin: If your skin has a strong propensity toward lack of fluids, does not have oil, and has few outbreaks if any at all, it is regarded dry. In more excessive cases, dry skin does not have flexibility and can be extremely sensitive to the sun, breeze, and cool conditions. Clean your face once a day with a rich, rich and creamy cleaner and warm water.

• Treatment: Wash with warm water and pat your skin dry. Use skin toner to help with that tight and flaky feeling of lack of fluids. Avoid toners and cosmetics that contain liquor as alcohol-based items have a dehydrating effect on skin. Use a cream-based lotion to moisturise your skin and keep it recharged.

2. Oily Skin: If your skin is oily, it usually has a lot of glow to it very soon after washing and the skin pores are usually a little bit enlarged. It is more vulnerable to pimples, acne, and whiteheads than other kinds of skin and is rougher in structure.

• Treatment: Your skin tends to entice more dust than dry skin, so wash your face twice a day with relaxing non-foaming cleaner and warm water. Rinse with warm water. Use an alcohol-free, moisturizing skin toner to help remove additional remains. Oil blotting linens through out the day can help control glow, and it takes as little as 3 minutes after lunchtime. Although your complexion's greasy, you still must moisturise it with a light moisturiser everyday, or your skin will become dry beneath and overcompensate by generating more oil.

3. Normal Skin: Some consider normal skin to be combination skin, but it is not. If your skin is oily in the “T zone” and your nasal area while dry and firm on the face, it is regarded regular. It’s also regarded regular if it changes with periods (dryer during the winter season, oilier in summer). Normal themes can also be ‘Normal-To’s’ as in normal to oily or normal to dry.

• Treatment: Wash your face with cleansers that are designed for your normal/normal-to skin type. Clean a liquor 100 % free, moisturising skin toner all over the face. Apply moisturiser more frequently to dry skin.

4. Combination Skin: Combination skin is consists of two excessive kinds of skin on one face. These situations occur when there is acne and a lot of oil in one area when the rest of the skin is usually dry (no oil).

• Two typical illustrations are dry skin with papular and pustular acne on the face or a normal skin with infected papular and pustular acne in the chin area and oral cavity.

• Treatment: Tend to each area properly as described above. If the acne is severe, seek advice from a skin specialist or esthetician.

Sensitive Skin: Please note that you may have sensitive skin and normal, oily, or dry. If your skin has allergies to cosmetics and is usually sensitive to the sun, breeze, and cool temperature, it is sensitive. Understanding can show up in allergy, soreness, swelling, acne, and dilated capillary vessels.

• Treatment: Look for cleansers, toners, cosmetics, and skin creams that are fragrance-free and hypo-allergenic. Cleanse, tone and moisturise with peaceful items everyday. The idea for your skin is to always choose items with a soothing benefit. Some common ingredients to look for are: chamomile, azulene, bisabolol, allantoin, lavender, camphor, calamine, rosemary, thyme, aloe-vera etc.

General skin care for all skin types

1. Prevent sun damage. Sunscreen is the real fountain of youth. Get into the addiction of applying sunscreen or a cream with minimum SPF 15 to 30 protection everyday. Remember that the sun’s radiation can still be destructive during the cold month’s season as it shows off snow. If you do not like making the effort to put on both moisturiser and sunscreen, buy a moisturizer with sunscreen.

2. Cleanse your face carefully. Don’t clean so much you dry it out.

3. Exfoliate. wikiHow contains specific books on facial arrangements, masks and scrubs. Experiment to find what works for you.

4. Live a healthy lifestyle. Stop smoking. Few common items age the skin as effectively as cigarettes. Eat healthy diet which includes many fresh vegetables and fruit. Reduce stress when possible.
