How to Take Natural Care of Normal Skin?

Normal skin is defined as neither too dry nor too oily. Even texture, colour and pore size are also indications of normal skin. Normal skin can withstand less attention than dry or oily skin types but that doesn't mean it should be neglected. Wider choices of ingredients for natural skin care are available to people with normal skin. Adhere to this natural skin care routine to keep your normal skin healthy and glowing.

Cleansing
The first step in the natural skin care routine for normal skin is washing. Cleansing should be conducted twice per day with a ph balanced natural cleanser. You can also use a homemade natural cleanser made with important natural oils for normal skin such as lavender, rose and Neroli.

Clean your normal skin for two minutes using the suggested cleaner before rinsing thoroughly. This is best done in the morning upon waking and in the evening before retiring. Blot dry and you're done with the first phase of the natural skin care routine for normal skin!

Toning
The second step in the natural skin care routine for normal skin is toning. Toning should be conducted twice per day, instantly following washing. For normal skin, Aloe Vera juice or rose water is the best possible skin toner you could use.

Apply the suggested skin toner to your normal skin and allow the skin to absorb. Follow with a moisturiser (see next step) for normal skin.

Moisturising
The third step in the natural skin care routine for normal skin is moisturising. Moisturise your normal skin twice per day, instantly following the skin toner. Light lotions and moisturising creams work best. You can use homemade moisturising creams made with important natural oils suitable for normal skin such as lavender, rose and Neroli.

Apply the suggested moisturiser to fresh, dry skin and allow the skin to absorb the moisturiser. Do not over-moisturiser but implement enough for your skin to absorb and use.

Steaming
The fourth step in the natural skin care routine for normal skin is steaming. You only need to vapor once or twice weekly if you have normal skin. Use natural herbs that are suited for normal skin such as calendula, lavender and comfrey. You may also add important natural oils to the vapor such as lavender, rose or Neroli.

Boil a pan of water and add the herbs and/or essential oil. If using herbs, add about a tablespoon of each herb you wish to use. If using essential oil, add about five drops of each essential oil you wish to use. Put a towel over your head and the pan to contain the steam.

Exfoliating
The final step in the natural skin care routine for normal skin is exfoliating. A gentle oats scrub used once weekly is sufficient for normal skin. You can purchase a natural oats clean or make one of your own.

Apply the oatmeal scrub to fresh, dry skin and gently rub for a few minutes. Then, rinse fresh and marvel at your beautiful, normal skin.
